On 12th May
2025, marks a significant mile stone in the Diocese of Agartala as our dear
Bishop Most Rev. Lumen Monteiro presided over the release of two significant
books that contribute to the rich tapestry of diocesan history and Catholic
teachings.
The first book, “A
Mosaic of Memories: History of Parishes in the Diocese of Agartala,” compiled
and edited by Fr. P. T. Mathew SJ., presents a comprehensive narrative of the parishes,
preserving cherished moments and historical milestones.
The second book, “Katholik
Mothani Poito Rwngmung,” written in Kokborok by Fr. Joseph Pulinthanath,
SDB., offers deep insights into the teachings of the Catholic Church, serving
as a valuable resource for faithful reflection and learning.
These publications mark
an important step in documenting the faith journey of the community and
fostering deeper understanding of Catholic traditions.
